The first foal to be offered at public auction out of LADY SHATZI, a colt by DEEP IMPACT, realized a final offer of ¥76,000,000 (US$745,000) at the 2014 JRHA Select Sale in Hokkaido, Japan.
LADY SHATZI was a private purchase by Eugenio Colombo for longtime friend and client Teruya Yoshida of Shadai Farm. This is only the second foal out of the 2009 Horse of the Year and Champion 3yo Filly in Peru, who captured 3 Grade 1 victories in Peru. She also has a 2yo by CURLIN that is in training.
